Butura Youths Movement Executive Council Inaugurated


Butura Wur, August 31, 2024 - In a colorful ceremony held at the palace of the District Head of Butura, the Butura Traditional Council and BUDA Executive inaugurated the newly elected Butura Youths Movement Executive Council.
The event, which took place on August 31, 2024, was attended by prominent figures, including His Royal Highness, District Head of Butura, Dr. Engr. John Gabriel Mallo Makwal, Saf Mandar Dah Amos Jallang, Ciroma Butura Dah Mabur Sati Wangai, and Hon. Major Yusuf Bukams.
Also in attendance were the BUDA President, represented by the Vice, Father of the day, Dr. Ezekiel Macham, Women Chairperson, and many well-wishers.
The inauguration marks a new chapter for the Butura Youths Movement, and the newly elected executive council is expected to drive development and progress in the community.
The ceremony was filled with excitement and joy, as the people of Butura celebrated the dawn of a new era for their youths.

BUTURA YOUTH MOVEMENT CONGRATULATES HON. LUKA MAKUT BWOI ON HIS PROMOTION

Deputy Clerk of the State House of Assembly, Hon. Luka Makut Bwoi, recently received a visit from the Butura Youth Movement EXCO led by its Chariman, Sabastine Magit in the office of the Deupty Clerk at the Plateau State House of Assembly on the 7th of November, 2024. Acording to Magit, the aim of the visit was to congratulate him on his new promotion. Hon. Luka Makut Bwoi welcomed the Butura Youth Movement and promised to collaborate and continue working in synergy with the youth. He emphasized the importance of unity for national development, urging youths to unite regardless of family and political affiliations. He dedicated his appointment to all Butura sons and daughters, stating that his appointment is for everyone, not just himself. Furthermore, he identified security as a paramount issue affecting the people and promised to work with Butura youths to address this concern. He also advised the youth to maintain a unified identity, remembering that Butura is one.
