KASUWAN PLATEAU: A HUB FOR AGRICULTURAL AND MINERAL DEVELOPMENT

On November 7th, 2024, youths from Butura attended the Kasuwan Plateau event at Solomon Lar Amusement Park in Jos, featuring displays from Bokkos and Kanam LGAs. The event showcased various 'Made in Jos' products. Plateau State Governor Bar. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, represented by Works Commissioner Hon. Adams Bulus Lekshak, praised the governor's initiatives in boosting agriculture and mining. He invited investors, noting the state's openness to investment. Bokkos LGA Chairman, represented by Deputy Hon. Sylvester Mahwel Wallangko, promised investors a conducive environment for mineral and agricultural development. He highlighted opportunities in UTC tomatoes farming in Tenti, urging investors to revive the abandoned project, creating jobs for youths."

BUTURA YOUTH MOVEMENT CONGRATULATES HON. LUKA MAKUT BWOI ON HIS PROMOTION

Deputy Clerk of the State House of Assembly, Hon. Luka Makut Bwoi, recently received a visit from the Butura Youth Movement EXCO led by its Chariman, Sabastine Magit in the office of the Deupty Clerk at the Plateau State House of Assembly on the 7th of November, 2024. Acording to Magit, the aim of the visit was to congratulate him on his new promotion. Hon. Luka Makut Bwoi welcomed the Butura Youth Movement and promised to collaborate and continue working in synergy with the youth. He emphasized the importance of unity for national development, urging youths to unite regardless of family and political affiliations. He dedicated his appointment to all Butura sons and daughters, stating that his appointment is for everyone, not just himself. Furthermore, he identified security as a paramount issue affecting the people and promised to work with Butura youths to address this concern. He also advised the youth to maintain a unified identity, remembering that Butura is one.
